BACK DOOR DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE

2. REMOVE NO. 6 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE

   Click here

3. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD

   
   

   1. 

      Disengage the 11 clips to remove the back door trim board.

4. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER LH

   
   

   1. 

      Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the rear combination light service cover LH.

5. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER RH

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

6. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM HEAD CAP

   Click here

7. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY

   Click here

8. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

   Click here

9. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR GROMMET

   Click here

10. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

11. REMOVE BACK DOOR WEIGHT RETAINER

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the 3 bolts.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the back door weight retainer.

12. REMOVE DOOR PULL HANDLE

    
    

    1. 

       Using a moulding remover A, disengage the 4 claws to remove the door pull handle.

13. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

14. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

15. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH

16. REMOVE DOOR UNLOCK SWITCH SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Lock Cylinder)

    
    

    1. 

       Disengage the 2 claws and remove the door unlock switch sub-assembly.

17. REMOVE BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

18. REMOVE REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear View Monitor System)

19. REMOVE REAR SPOILER COVER LH (w/ Rear Spoiler)

    Click here

20. REMOVE REAR SPOILER COVER RH (w/ Rear Spoiler)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

21. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Spoiler)

22. REMOVE REAR LIGHT COVER

    
    

    1. 

       Disengage the 6 claws to remove the rear light cover.

23. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

24. REMOVE REAR WASHER NOZZLE

25. REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR PANEL PROTECTOR

    
    

    1. 

       Double-sided Tape

       Using a clip remover, disengage the 2 clips.

    2. While peeling off the double-sided tape, remove the No. 2 back door panel protector.

26. REMOVE NO. 1 BACK DOOR PANEL PROTECTOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 back door panel protector.

27. REMOVE BACK DOOR PANEL CUSHION

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both sides.

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the back door panel cushion.

28. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

29. REMOVE NO. 1 BACK DOOR WIRE

    
    
    1. 

       *a	Hook
       *b	Clamp

       Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the hook.

    3. Disconnect the connector.

    4. Disengage the clamp to remove the No. 1 back door wire.

30. REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR WIRE

    
    
    1. 

       *a	Hook
       *b	Clamp

       Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the hook.

    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    4. Disengage the 5 clamps to remove the No. 2 back door wire.

31. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM HANGER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both sides.
