BACK DOOR DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SPOILER COVER LH (w/ Rear Spoiler)

  2. REMOVE REAR SPOILER COVER RH (w/ Rear Spoiler)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Spoiler)

  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD

      Disengage the 11 clips and remove the back door trim board.

  5. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM HEAD CAP (w/ Rear Wiper)

  6. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Wiper)

    Click here

  7. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Wiper)

    Click here

  8. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR GROMMET (w/ Rear Wiper)

    Click here

  9. REMOVE GROMMET (w/o Rear Wiper)

      Remove the grommet.

  10. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE BACK DOOR WEIGHT (w/ Back Door Weight)

      Remove the 3 bolts.

    2. Disengage the hook and remove the back door weight.

  12. REMOVE DOOR PULL HANDLE

      *1 Moulding Remover

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the door pull handle.

  13. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (w/ Lock Cylinder)

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and back door lock cylinder.

    3. A01V0HL

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the door unlock switch.

  14. REMOVE BACK DOOR GARNISH NO. 2 RETAINER (w/ Cover)


    1. A01V1QK

      Remove the 2 nuts and back door garnish No. 2 retainer.

  15. REMOVE REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Parking Assist Monitor System)

  16. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

  17. REMOVE BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  18. REMOVE REAR LIGHT COVER

      Disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear lamp cover.

  19. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  20. REMOVE REAR WASHER NOZZLE

    Click here

  21. REMOVE BACK DOOR PANEL NO. 2 PROTECTOR

      *a Double-sided Tape

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. While peeling off the double-sided tape, remove the back door panel protector.

  22. REMOVE BACK DOOR PANEL NO. 1 PROTECTOR

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2.

  23. REMOVE BACK DOOR PANEL CUSHION

      Remove the back door panel cushion.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for the opposite side.

  24. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  25. REMOVE REAR WINDOW NO. 1 WIRE

      *2 Clamp

      Remove the bolt and disengage the hook.

    2. Disengage the clamp and remove the wire harness.

  26. REMOVE BACK DOOR NO. 2 WIRE

      Remove the bolt and disengage the hook.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disengage the 4 clamps and remove the wire harness.

  27. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM HANGER (w/ Package Tray Trim)

      Remove the package tray trim hanger.

  28. REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM

  29. REMOVE NO. 6 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE (w/ Rear Wiper)

  30. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE (w/ Rear Wiper)
