ROOF HEADLINING REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE (for Glass Roof)


    1. for Standard:


      1. Align the No. 1 roof wire positioning tape with the markings of the roof headlining.

      2. Install the No. 1 roof wire onto the roof headlining with 6 new pieces of tape.

        Note


        • Apply the tape securely in place.

        • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.

    2. w/ Rain Sensor:


      1. Align the No. 1 roof wire positioning tape with the markings of the roof headlining.

      2. Install the No. 1 roof wire onto the roof headlining with 7 new pieces of tape.

        Note


        • Apply the tape securely in place.

        • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE (except Glass Roof)


    1. for Standard:


      1. Align the No. 1 roof wire positioning tape with the markings of the roof headlining.

      2. Install the No. 1 roof wire onto the roof headlining with 7 new pieces of tape.

        Note


        • Apply the tape securely in place.

        • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.

    2. w/ Vanity Light:


      1. Align the No. 1 roof wire positioning tape with the markings of the roof headlining.

      2. Install the No. 1 roof wire onto the roof headlining with 10 new pieces of tape.

        Note


        • Apply the tape securely in place.

        • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.

    3. w/ Rain Sensor:


      1. Align the No. 1 roof wire positioning tape with the markings of the roof headlining.

      2. Install the No. 1 roof wire onto the roof headlining with 8 new pieces of tape.

        Note


        • Apply the tape securely in place.

        • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.

    4. w/ Rain Sensor and Vanity Light:


      1. Align the No. 1 roof wire positioning tape with the markings of the roof headlining.

      2. Install the No. 1 roof wire onto the roof headlining with 11 new pieces of tape.

        Note


        • Apply the tape securely in place.

        • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.

  3. INSTALL REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER RH (except Glass Roof)


    1. w/ Curtain Shield Airbag:


      1. A01UZA8

        Align the markings on the roof headlining assembly with the rear side rail spacer and install the rail spacer using hot melt glue.

    2. w/o Curtain Shield Airbag:

        Align the markings on the roof headlining assembly with the rear side rail spacer and install the rail spacer using hot melt glue.

  4. INSTALL REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER LH (except Glass Roof)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  5. INSTALL NO. 6 ROOF SILENCER PAD


    1. A01UYMH

      Align the markings on the roof headlining assembly with the 2 No. 6 roof silencer pads and install the silencer pads using hot melt glue.

  6. INSTALL NO. 4 ROOF SILENCER PAD


    1. A01UXV9

      Align the markings on the roof headlining assembly with the 2 No. 4 roof silencer pads and install the silencer pads using hot melt glue.

  7. INSTALL NO. 3 ROOF SILENCER PAD (except Glass Roof)

      Align the markings on the roof headlining assembly with the 2 No. 3 roof silencer pads and install the silencer pads using hot melt glue.

  8. INSTALL NO. 5 ROOF SILENCER PAD (except Glass Roof)


    1. A01UXWC

      Align the markings on the roof headlining assembly with the 2 No. 5 roof silencer pads and install the silencer pads using hot melt glue.

  9. INSTALL REAR ROOF SILENCER PAD (except Glass Roof)


    1. Align the markings on the roof headlining assembly with the rear roof silencer pad and install the silencer pads using hot melt glue.

  10. INSTALL ROOF SILENCER PAD (except Glass Roof)


    1. Align the markings on the roof headlining assembly with the 3 roof silencer pads and install the silencer pads using hot melt glue.

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Glass Roof)

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER

      Engage the 6 claws and 2 guides and install the rear seat shoulder belt cover.
