ECO SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT ECO SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (ECO Switch Assembly)

      Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 (E) - 4 (ECU) off 10 kΩ or higher
        1 (E) - 4 (ECU) on Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the eco switch assembly.

    2. Check that the eco switch illuminates.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the eco switch illumination terminals.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the eco switch assembly.
