CONDENSER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR

    Click here

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the cooler condenser.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  7. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A


    1. A01V10L

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the liquid tube from the cooler condenser.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the liquid tube.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01UZ96

      Disengage the 2 clamps and separate the wire harness.

    3. A01UZ59

      Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the hood lock control cable.

    4. A01UZSU

      Remove the 4 bolts and the radiator upper support.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

    Click here

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD


    1. A01UYN1

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the fan shroud.

  12. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01V1T6

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the cooler condenser.

      Note

      Do not damage the condenser or radiator when removing the cooler condenser.
