COMPRESSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  2. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP

    Click here

  3. CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE


    1. Remove the inverter terminal cover Click here.

    2. Remove the inverter cover Click here.

    3. Check the terminal voltage Click here.

    4. Install the inverter cover Click here.

    5. Install the inverter terminal cover Click here.

  4. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose from the compressor.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  6. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose from the compressor.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the suction hose.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  7. REMOVE COMPRESSOR WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

      *1 Green-colored Lock

      Using a screwdriver, slide the green-colored lock of the connector A in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to release it and disconnect the connector.

    2. Disconnect the connector B.

      Remove the bolt and the 2 nuts.

    4. Using "TORX" socket wrench (E8), remove the stud bolts and the compressor with motor assembly.
