FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY(for Driver Side) INSTALLATION

Note

Always use E10 "TORX" socket wrench when removing the front seat.

Tech Tips

The procedure described below is for the LHD. Use the same procedure for both the RHD and LHD, unless otherwise specified.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      41 N*m  { 420 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not place the front seat inner belt over the convex areas of the front seat with frame adjuster.

    2. Engage the 2 clamps.

    3. Engage the 5 clamps. (w/o Seat Heater System)

    4. Connect the seat heater connector. (w/ Seat Heater System)

    5. Engage the 5 clamps. (w/ Seat Heater System)

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (for LHD)

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  5. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER RH (for Front Floor Cover Type A)

  7. INSTALL CENTER FRONT FLOOR COVER (for Front Floor Cover Type B)

  8. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
