  2. METER GAUGE AND WARNING INDICATOR

    Meter/Gauge
    Item Signal Description
    Speedometer Indicates vehicle speed based on signals received from brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).
    Fuel Gauge Indicates fuel level in accordance with signals received from fuel sender gauge assembly (Direct line).
    Hybrid system indicator Indicates hybrid system indicator status based on signals from power management control ECU (CAN).
    ODO/TRIP meter Calculates accumulated total vehicle travel distance and vehicle travel distance since mode switch pressed.
    Warning/Indicator

    TURN Receives turn signal from headlight dimmer switch assembly (Direct line).
    BEAM Receives high beam signal from H-LP relay (Direct line).
    TAIL Receives taillight signal from TAIL relay (Direct line).
    REAR FOG Receives rear fog light signal from FOG RR relay (Direct line).
    FRONT FOG*1 Receives front fog light signal from FOG FR relay (Direct line).
    BRAKE

    • Receives brake fluid level warning signal from brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).

    • Receives parking brake switch signal from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) (CAN).

    • Receives malfunction signal from brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).
    ABS Receives malfunction signal from brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).
    OIL PRESSURE Receives engine oil pressure warning signal from engine oil pressure switch assembly (Direct line).
    MIL Receives malfunction check engine warning signal from ECM (Direct line).
    D+P BELT

    • Receives driver seat belt warning signal (unfastened) from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) (CAN).

    • Receives front passenger seat belt warning signal (unfastened) from front seat inner belt assembly (for front passenger side) (Direct line).
    AIRBAG Receives malfunction signal from airbag ECU assembly (CAN).
    Engine coolant temperature HOT Receives engine coolant temperature signal from ECM (CAN).
    Auxiliary battery charging Receives malfunction signal from power management control ECU (CAN).
    DOOR Open door indicator illuminates when receiving signal from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) (CAN).
    FUEL Receives remaining fuel signal from fuel sender gauge assembly (Direct line).
    EPS Receives malfunction signal from power steering ECU (CAN).
    SLIP Receives malfunction signal from brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).
    ENTRY*2 Receives signal from certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) (CAN).
    CRUISE*3 Receives cruise indicator signal from power management control ECU (CAN).
    CRUISE SET*3 Receives cruise indicator signal from power management control ECU (CAN).
    Electrically controlled brake Receives electronically controlled brake system signal from brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).
    Hybrid system overheat Receives hybrid system overheat signal from power management control ECU (CAN).
    READY Receives ready signal from power management control ECU (CAN).
    ECO MODE Receives ECO mode signal from power management control ECU (CAN).
    EV drive Receives EV drive indicator light signal from power management control ECU (CAN).
    Low traction battery Receives low traction battery indicator light signal from power management control ECU (CAN).
    P position request Receives P position request signal from power management control ECU (CAN).
    EV drive mode Receives hybrid system EV drive mode signal from power management control ECU (CAN).
    Hybrid system warning Receives hybrid system check signal from power management control ECU (CAN).
    VSC OFF Receives VSC off signal from brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).
    TRC OFF Receives TRC off signal from brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) (CAN).
    TIRE PRESSURE*4 Receives malfunction signal from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) (CAN).

    Buzzer
    Item Signal Description
    LIGHT Reminder Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is off, light control switch is in TAIL position, and driver side door is open.
    KEY Reminder*1 Buzzer ON: Ignition switch is off, key is inserted, and driver side door is open.
    Seat Belt Warning (driver and front passenger seat belt) Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is ON (IG), driver or front passenger seat belt is unfastened, and vehicle speed is 20 km/h (12.4 mph) or more.
    Seat Belt Warning (rear seat belt) Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is ON (IG), rear door has been opened and closed and rear seat belt is unfastened, and vehicle speed is 20 km/h (12.4 mph) or more.
    ENTRY Warning*2 Buzzer ON: Receives signal from certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).
    PKB Reminder Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is ON (IG), parking brake is operating, and vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3.1 mph) or more.
    Immobiliser*2 Buzzer ON: Receives signal from certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).
    EPS buzzer Buzzer ON: Receives signal from the power steering ECU assembly.
    Ready Buzzer ON: Receives ready buzzer signal from power management control ECU.
    HV system Buzzer ON: Receives hybrid system fail-safe warning signal from power management control ECU.
    Door ajar warning (reminder to shift to P position) Buzzer ON: Receives NDB warning signal from power management control ECU.
    Shift to P position to start Buzzer ON: Receives shift selection P request signal from power management control ECU.
    Hybrid battery low voltage Buzzer ON: Receives hybrid battery low voltage warning signal from power management control ECU.
    HV system overheat Buzzer ON: Receives HV motor overheat warning signal from power management control ECU.
    EV reject Buzzer ON: Receives EV mode signal from power management control ECU.
    Accelerator depressed with shift selection N Buzzer ON: Receives accelerator depressed with shift selection N signal from power management control ECU.
    Turn signal flasher Buzzer ON: Receives LH and RH turn signal from headlight dimmer switch assembly or hazard warning signal from hazard warning signal switch assembly.
    Warning of driving with door open Buzzer ON: When ignition switch is ON (IG), vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3.1 mph) or more, and each door is open.

    		 The display can be switched using the MODE switch located on the lower left of the combination meter.

  3. LED CHECK


    1. Check the indicator/warning light operation according to the condition(s) in the table below.

      Indicator/Warning Light Specification
      BRAKE, ABS, SLIP, Hybrid system warning Electrically controlled brake, Hybrid system overheat, ECO MODE, Low traction battery, P position request, VSC OFF, TRC OFF, Tire Pressure*1 Indicator/Warning light comes on for about 3 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON (IG).
      AIRBAG Warning light comes on for about 6 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON (IG).
      OIL PRESSURE, CHECK ENGINE, CHARGE, EPS, Indicator/Warning light comes on after turning the ignition switch to ON (IG) and the indicator light goes off after the engine starts.
