LIGHTING SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU

    *1 Instrument Panel Junction Block Assembly *2 Main Body ECU

    1. Remove the main body ECU.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      MB-3 (BCYL) - Body ground - Auxiliary battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      MB-11 (GND1) - Body ground - Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      MB-29 (ACC) - Body ground - ACC power supply Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      MB-30 (BECU) - Body ground - Auxiliary battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      MB-32 (IG)- Body ground - IG power supply Ignition switch ON (IG) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reinstall the main body ECU.

    4. Measure the voltage and check for pulse according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU or instrument panel junction block assembly may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the F48 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F48-6 (AGND) - Body ground B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
