  1. ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM


    1. The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:

      Control Outline Light that Operates
      Actuation Area-linked*1 When a registered key enters any actuation area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.
      • Map light assembly

      • Power switch

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly*4

      Door Open-linked When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on.
      • Map light assembly

      • Power switch*2

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly*4

      Door Close-linked When all doors are closed, the lights that operate illuminate for 15 seconds and then turn off.
      • Map light assembly

      • Power switch*2

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly*4

      Door Lock-linked When the driver door, passenger door and rear doors are locked, the lights that operate turn off.
      • Map light assembly

      • Power switch*2

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly*4

      When the driver door, passenger door or rear door is unlocked, the lights that operate illuminate for 15 seconds and then turn off.

      Power Switch-linked*2

      Ignition Switch-linked*3

      When the ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON (IG) to off, the lights that operate turn on.
      • Map light assembly

      • Power switch*2

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly*4

      When the ignition switch is turned from off to ACC or ON (IG), the lights that operate turn off.
      • Map light assembly

      • Power switch*2

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly*4

      Battery Saving When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is outside the vehicle exterior detection area, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off.*2
      • Map light assembly

      When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is not in the ignition key cylinder, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off.*3
