FRONT DOOR LOCK REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the RH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Window)

  2. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL (w/ Power Window)

  3. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL (w/o Power Window)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER

  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN

    Click here

  8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR REAR LOWER FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER (w/ Lock Cylinder)


    1. Remove the hole plug.

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw and the front door outside handle cover.

  10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A01UXTO

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 screws.

      *1 Front Door Lock Open Rod
      A01V0R7 Slide Direction

      Slide the front door lock assembly downward, and remove the front door lock from the front door lock open rod.

      Remove the door lock wire harness seal from the front door lock.

  11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 7 claws.

    2. A01UXY0

      Remove the front door lock remote control cable assembly from the front door lock.

  12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01UZPN

      Remove the front door inside locking cable assembly from the front door lock.
