AUXILIARY BATTERY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL AUXILIARY BATTERY

   
   

   1. Install the battery insulator.

   2. Install the battery.

   3. Connect the battery ventilation hose to the battery without kinking it.

      Tech Tips

      Push in the battery ventilation hose to the battery until a click sound is heard.

   4. Connect the positive (+) battery terminal with the nut.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

   5. Install the battery terminal cap.

   6. Install the battery clamp with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

   
   

   1. Connect the negative battery terminal with the nut.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

      Note

      When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

3. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER RH (for Front Floor Cover Type A)
