DESCRIPTION

The video signal from the rear television camera assembly is transmitted to the radio and display receiver assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the F76 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the P2 rear television camera assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      F76-24 (V-) - P2-2 (CV-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F76-12 (V+) - P2-3 (CV+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F76-23 (CGND) - P2-5 (CGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      F76-11 (CA+) - P2-6 (CB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F76-24 (V-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F76-12 (V+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F76-23 (CGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F76-11 (CA+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. CHECK RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Reconnect the radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. CHECK REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY


    1. Reconnect the rear television camera assembly connector.

    2. Check the waveform of the rear television camera assembly using an oscilloscope.

      Tech Tips

      A waterproof connector is used for the rear television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the radio and display receiver assembly with the connector connected.
