DESCRIPTION

The circuit is used when the voice guidance in the navigation system is on.

Using this circuit, the extension module sends signals to the radio and display receiver assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - EXTENSION MODULE)


    1. Disconnect the V3 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the V1 extension module connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      V3-22 (VOI+) - V1-31 (VOI+) Always Below 1 Ω
      V3-23 (VOI-) - V1-30 (VOI-) Always Below 1 Ω
      V3-22 (VOI+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      V3-23 (VOI-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
