NAVIGATION SYSTEM Data Signal Circuit between Stereo Jack Adapter and Extension Module

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the sound data signal or image data signal from a USB device to the extension module via this circuit.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (EXTENSION MODULE - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the F72 extension module connector.

    2. Disconnect the F39 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F72-2 (US1-) - F39-2 (UDO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F72-3 (US1+) - F39-3 (UDO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F72-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F72-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
