DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the main body ECU cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.

Tech Tips


    The main body ECU controls the items for the following systems that are customizable via the radio and display receiver assembly screen:

  • Power door lock control system

  • Wireless door lock control system (w/ Power Switch)

  • Wireless door lock control system (w/o Power Switch)

  • Lighting system (INT)

  • Lighting system (EXT)

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally Click here.

      OK
      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Click here

  2. CHECK LIGHTING SYSTEM (INT)


    1. Check if the lighting system (INT) is malfunctioning Click here.

      Tech Tips

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the lighting system (INT).

      OK
      No malfunctions are present in the lighting system (INT).

  3. CHECK LIGHTING SYSTEM (EXT)


    1. Check if the lighting system (EXT) is malfunctioning Click here.

      Tech Tips

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the lighting system (EXT).

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each main body ECU related system.

      These items shown as customizable via the radio and display receiver assembly vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the GTS. In a following step, the GTS will be used.


      1. To match-up the items in the radio and display receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the wireless door lock control system (w/ Power Switch) related items that can be customized via the radio and display receiver assembly screen Click here.

      2. To match-up the items in the radio and display receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (INT) related items that can be customized via the radio and display receiver assembly screen Click here.

      3. To match-up the items in the radio and display receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the lighting system (EXT) related items that can be customized via the radio and display receiver assembly screen Click here.

    3. Using the GTS, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the radio and display receiver assembly screen.
