AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM(for Radio Receiver Type) Sound Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Jack Adapter

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends sound signal from an external device to the radio receiver assembly via this circuit.

If there is an open or short in the circuit, sound cannot be heard from the speakers even if there is no malfunction in the radio receiver assembly or speakers.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the F32 and F66 radio receiver assembly connectors.

    2. Disconnect the F39 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      F32-26 (VAR+) - F39-5 (ARO) Always Below 1 Ω
      F32-28 (VAL+) - F39-6 (ALO) Always Below 1 Ω
      F32-27 (VA-) - F39-7 (ASGN) Always Below 1 Ω
      F32-25 (ADPG) - F39-8 (AUXO) Always Below 1 Ω
      F32-11 (AGND) - F39-9 (AGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      F66-2 (US1-)- F39-2 (UDO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F66-3 (US1+) - F39-3 (UDO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F32-26 (VAR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F32-28 (VAL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F32-27 (VA-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F32-25 (ADPG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F32-11 (AGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F66-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F66-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
