PARKING BRAKE CABLE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the casing cap onto the rear disc brake cylinder guide.

   2. Install the No. 3 parking brake cable end to the rear disc brake cylinder operation lever.

   3. Install cable clamp B onto the rear axle beam.

      

      Note

      Securely install the clamp.

      Tech Tips

      When reusing the parking brake cable assembly, replace cable clamp B with a new part.

   4. Tighten the 4 bolts.

      Torque:

      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

   5. Pass the parking brake cable through a new cable clamp A, and then install cable clamp A onto the stud bolt.

      Note

      Securely install the clamp.

   6. Install the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly onto the parking brake equalizer.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure for the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly as for the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.

3. INSTALL FUEL TANK COVER VENT CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 4 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

   Click here

5. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

   Torque:

   103 N*m  { 1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf }

6. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL

   Click here

7. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX
