Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
Install the rear suspension support assembly to the rear shock absorber assembly.
INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION SUPPORT STOPPER
Install the rear suspension support stopper to the rear shock absorber assembly.
TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY
Support the rear axle beam assembly with a jack. Insert a wooden block between the jack and the rear axle spring seat to prevent damage.
Note
Keep supporting the rear axle beam assembly with a jack until the installation of the rear shock absorber assembly is complete.
Jack up the rear axle beam assembly slowly, and temporarily tighten the rear shock absorber assembly (lower side) with the bolt and nut to the rear axle beam assembly.
Install the rear suspension support and the rear shock absorber cushion retainer.
While holding the rear shock absorber piston rod, install a new nut (lower nut) to the specified standard.

Install a new nut (upper nut) to the lower nut.

Hold the lower nut and tighten the upper nut against it.
INSTALL REAR ABSORBER CAP
Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws to install the rear absorber cap.
INSTALL REAR WHEEL
STABILIZE SUSPENSION
FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY
Fully tighten the rear shock absorber assembly (lower side) with the bolt.
Note
Since a stopper nut is used, turn the bolt.
INSPECT REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
