FRONT STABILIZER BAR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY


    1. A01UZWA

      As shown in the illustration, flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times before installing the nut.

    2. Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously at a rate of 2 to 4 seconds per turn and take the torque reading on the 3rd turn.

      Torque:
      0.05 N*m  { 0.5 kgf*cm, 20 kgf*cm, 0.4 in.*lbf, 17 in.*lbf }

      If the turning torque is not within the specified range, replace the front stabilizer link assembly with a new one.

    3. Check for any cracks and grease leakage on the ball joint dust cover.
