HYBRID TRANSAXLE OIL SEAL REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY TYPE T OIL SEAL (for LH Side)


    1. A01UZVZE01

      Using SST, remove the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly type T oil seal from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

  3. REMOVE HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY TYPE T OIL SEAL (for RH Side)


    1. A01V0VXE01

      Using SST, remove the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly type T oil seal from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

  4. INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY TYPE T OIL SEAL (for LH Side)


    1. A01UXL0E03

      Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly type T oil seal to the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

      Oil seal installation depth
      2.5 to 3.5 mm (0.0985 to 0.137 in.)

    2. Coat the lip of the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly type T oil seal with MP grease.

  5. INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY TYPE T OIL SEAL (for RH Side)


    1. A01V07EE03

      Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly type T oil seal to the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

      Oil seal installation depth
      3.0 to 4.0 mm (0.119 to 0.157 in.)

    2. Coat the lip of the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly type T oil seal with MP grease.
