HYBRID TRANSAXLE SYSTEM ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT TRANSAXLE FLUID PRESSURE

    Note

    Make sure to perform the following inspection after inspecting and adjusting the engine.


    1. Remove the engine under cover LH.

    2. Lift up the vehicle.

    3. A004FNQ

      Remove the fluid pump cover plug and O-ring.

    4. A004G6DE04

      Install SST to the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

      SST
      09992-00095   ( 09992-00112, 09992-00271 )

    5. Put the engine in inspection mode Click here.

    6. Measure the transaxle fluid pressure.

      Reference
      Engine Speed Transaxle Fluid Temperature Transaxle Fluid Pressure
      1000 rpm 20 to 50°C (68 to 122°F)

      4.0 kPa (0.04 kgf/cm2, 0.6 psi) or more

      Note

      Be sure to cancel inspection mode immediately after the transaxle fluid pressure check is completed.

    7. Install a new O-ring and the fluid pump cover plug.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    8. Install the engine under cover LH.
