MOTOR CABLE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE INVERTER BRACKET ASSEMBLY

  3. SEPARATE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      *1 No. 1 Transmission Control Cable Clamp
      *2 No. 2 Transmission Control Cable Clamp

      Separate the transmission control cable assembly from the No. 1 transmission control cable clamp and the No. 2 transmission control cable clamp.

  4. SEPARATE WIRE HARNESS


    1. A01V10E

      Disengage the 3 clamps and separate the No. 2 engine wire from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

    2. A01UYG9

      Remove the 2 bolts, disengage the clamp and separate the wire harness from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

  5. REMOVE MOTOR CABLE

    CAUTION:

    Wear insulated gloves.

      Disengage the 4 clamps and separate the motor cable from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

    2. Remove the motor cable (for MG2).

        Remove the 2 bolts and slide the connector shell back.

      2. A01UYWV

        Disengage the 2 claws and remove the terminal cap from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

      3. A01V0FF

        Remove the 3 bolts and the motor cable from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

    3. Remove the motor cable (for MG1).


      1. A01UYK2

        Remove the 2 bolts and slide the connector shell back.

      2. A01UZ7Z

        Disengage the 2 claws and remove the terminal cap from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

      3. A01V23M

        Remove the 3 bolts and the motor cable from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.
