RADIATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the fan shroud and engage the 2 claws.

   2. Install the No. 3 radiator hose with the 2 bolts and clip.

      Torque:

      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

   3. Install the 2 lower radiator supports.

   4. Install the radiator assembly with the fan shroud.

      Note

      Do not apply any excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly or pipe when installing the radiator assembly.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 FAN SHROUD

   
   

   1. Install the No. 2 fan shroud with the 2 bolts and engage the 2 claws.

      Torque:

      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

3. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the 2 radiator support cushions.

   2. Install the upper radiator support sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:

      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

   3. Engage the clamp of hood lock control cable.

   4. Engage the 3 clamps and connect the cooling fan ECU connector.

   5. Connect the horn connector.

4. CONNECT NO. 1 INVERTER COOLING HOSE ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 1 inverter cooling hose assembly and engage the lower clamp.

5. CONNECT OUTLET NO. 1 HYBRID WATER PUMP HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the outlet No. 1 hybrid water pump hose and engage the 3 clamps.

6. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose.

7. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 1 radiator hose.

   2. Connect the reserve tank hose.

8. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the hood lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:

      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

   2. Engage the 2 clamps of the upper radiator support.

9. INSTALL AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

10. INSTALL AIRBAG SENSOR BRACKET

11. INSTALL HEADLIGHT UNIT LH

12. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

13. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

14. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

15. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER

    
    

    1. Install the radiator support opening cover with the 4 clips.

16. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

17. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

18. ADD COOLANT (for Inverter)

    Click here

19. ADD COOLANT (for Engine)

20. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Inverter)

21. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine)

22. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
