EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE EGR COOLER ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and front floor center brace.

  3. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01UXTV

      Remove the 4 bolts and 4 compression springs.

    2. Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.

    3. Remove the 2 gaskets from the front exhaust pipe assembly and exhaust manifold.

  4. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

      Remove the 4 bolts and No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  6. REMOVE MANIFOLD SUPPORT BRACKET

      Remove the 4 bolts and manifold support bracket.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 EGR PIPE


    1. A01V27C

      Remove the bolt, nut and No. 1 EGR pipe.

    2. Remove the gasket.

  8. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD

      Disconnect the wire harness clamp and oxygen sensor connector.

    2. A01UZC6

      Remove the 3 bolts, 2 nuts and exhaust manifold.

    3. Remove the exhaust manifold to head gasket.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR


    1. A01UYP4

      Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  10. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR
