FUEL PUMP REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP WITH FILTER ASSEMBLY

      *1 O-ring
      *2 Fuel Pump Spacer

      Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring and spacer to the fuel pump with filter assembly.

      Connect the fuel pump harness connector.

      *1 Fuel Filter
      *2 Suction Filter

      Engage the 5 claws of the fuel pump with filter assembly.

      Note


      • Make sure that the O-ring is not cut or pinched during installation.

      • Engage the claws securely.

      • Do not remove the suction filter.

      Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pump assembly Click here.

      Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 fuel suction support.

      *1 No. 1 Fuel Sub-tank
      *2 Fuel Tube

      Engage the 2 claws of the No. 1 fuel suction support and install the fuel filter and the fuel pump with filter assembly onto the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

    6. A01V0H0

      Align the groove of the suction filter hose with the cutout of the No. 1 fuel sub-tank and install the hose.

      Note

      Do not apply excessive force to the fuel tube or the fuel suction plate.

    7. Connect the connector of the fuel pump harness.
