ENGINE UNIT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 EGR PIPE

  2. REMOVE EGR VALVE WITH COOLER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD STAY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

    Click here

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

    Click here

  6. REMOVE MANIFOLD SUPPORT BRACKET

    Click here

  7. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD

    Click here

  8. REMOVE NO. 4 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

      Disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose.

    2. Remove the bolt and No. 4 water by-pass hose.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

      Disconnect the water hose from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 water by-pass pipe.

  10. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET (for LHD)

      Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.

  11. REMOVE ENGINE COVER BRACKET

    1. Remove the bolt A.

    2. Remove the bolt B, bolt C and the engine cover bracket.

  12. REMOVE STUD BOLT

      Using an E7 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the stud bolt.

  13. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK


    1. Remove the engine oil level dipstick.

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 IGNITION COIL
