HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM Pattern Select Switch Eco Mode Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When selecting ECO drive mode, the ECO mode switch (eco switch assembly) operation signal is sent to the air conditioning amplifier assembly. Following this, ECO drive mode control is activated for the heater and air conditioning system.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (CAN BUS CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / CAN Bus Check.

      Result
      Result Proceed to
      All of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed. A
      None of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed, or some of them are not displayed. B
    4. Turn the ignition switch off.

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HEALTH CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

    4. Check DTCs.

      Result

      No DTCs are output. A
      DTCs are output. B
    5. Turn the ignition switch off.

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (INDICAT. ECO MODE)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test / Indicat. ECO Mode.

    4. Perform the "Indicat. ECO MODE" Active Test.

      OK
      The ECO MODE indicator light comes on or blinks and turn off.
    5. Turn the ignition switch off.

  4. READ VALUE USING GTS (ECO MODE)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / ECO Mode.

    4. Read the value displayed on the GTS.

    1. Disconnect the ECO mode switch (eco switch assembly) connector.
