BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

   
   

   • for Bulb Type Stop Light:

2. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH

   
   

   1. w/o Lock Cylinder:

      
      

      1. 

         Remove the 8 bolts.

   2. w/ Lock Cylinder:

      
      

      1. 

         Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the 2 bolts and back door lock cylinder assembly with door unlock switch sub-assembly.

      3. 

         Remove the 7 bolts.

   3. 

      Disengage the 11 clips and remove the back door outside garnish.

4. REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH (w/o Rear View Monitor System)

   
   

   1. 

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 2 back door outside garnish.

5. REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM

   
   

   1. 

      Disengage the 3 claws and guide to remove the symbol emblem.

   2. 

      Remove the back door ornament from the symbol emblem.

6. REMOVE BACK DOOR GARNISH MOULDING UPPER PROTECTOR

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the back door garnish moulding upper protector.

7. REMOVE NO. 1 BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH PROTECTOR

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the No. 1 back door outside garnish protector.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both sides.
