Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT PACKING

      Remove the rear light packing.

      Note


      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old packing from the vehicle body.

      • Do not reuse the removed packing. Be sure to install a new rear combination light body packing to prevent water ingress.

  2. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE (w/ Rear Fog Light)

      Disengage the claw and clamp.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

      Turn the back up light bulb with the rear light socket and wire in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove it.

  3. REMOVE BACK UP LIGHT BULB


    1. w/ Rear fog light:


      1. A004BA1

        Remove the back up light bulb from the rear light socket and wire.

    2. w/o Rear fog light:


      1. A004814

        Turn the back up light bulb with the back up light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove it.

      2. A004ADF

        Remove the back up light bulb from the back up light socket.

  4. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LED (w/ Rear Fog Light)


    1. A0048ZU

      Turn the rear combination light LED as shown in the illustration to remove it.
