REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY(for LED Type Stop Light) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

   
   

   1. w/o Rear Fog Light:

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Light Assembly LH)

         Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear light assembly LH and check that the light comes on.

         OK
         Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (B) Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E) Back up light comes on Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (B) Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E) Taillight comes on

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear light assembly LH.

   2. w/ Rear Fog Light:

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Light Assembly LH)

         Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear light assembly LH and check that the light comes on.

         OK
         Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (B) Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E) Back up light comes on Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (B) Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E) Taillight comes on Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (B) Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E) Rear fog light comes on

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear light assembly LH.

2. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

   
   

   1. w/o Rear Fog Light:

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Light Assembly RH)

         Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear light assembly RH and check that the light comes on.

         OK
         Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (B) Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E) Back up light comes on Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (B) Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E) Taillight comes on

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear light assembly RH.

   2. w/ Rear Fog Light:

         Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear light assembly RH and check that the light comes on.

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear light assembly RH.
