  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT PACKING


    1. A0049MP

      Remove the rear light packing.

      Note


      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old packing from the vehicle body.

      • Do not reuse the removed packing. Be sure to install a new rear light packing to prevent water ingress.

  2. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE


    1. w/ Rear fog light:


      1. A0047EM

        Disengage the claw and clamp.

      2. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      3. A0047KC

        Turn the back up light bulb with the rear light socket and wire in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove it.

    2. w/o Rear fog light:


      1. A004A1Z

        Disengage the claw and clamp.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      3. A0048X8

        Turn the back up light bulb with the rear light socket and wire in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove it.

  3. REMOVE BACK UP LIGHT BULB


    1. A004BA1

      Remove the back up light bulb from the rear light socket and wire.

  4. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LED (w/ Rear Fog Light)


    1. A0048ZU

      Turn the rear combination light LED as shown in the illustration to remove it.
