REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY(for LED Type Stop Light) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Remove the rear combination light service cover Click here.

    2. Disconnect the connector from the rear combination light assembly LH.

    3. Check the voltage.

        (to Rear Combination Light Assembly LH)

        Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Voltage
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        K37-2 (B) - K37-3 (E) Light control switch OFF Below 1 V
        Light control switch in TAIL 11 to 14 V
        K37-4 (B) - K37-3 (E) Brake pedal released Below 1 V
        Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V
        K37-1 (B) - K37-3 (E) Turn signal switch OFF Below 1 V
        Ignition switch ON (IG) and Turn signal switch in LH 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)

        If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

  2. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Remove the rear combination light service cover Click here.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the LH side.

    2. Disconnect the connector from the rear combination light assembly RH.

    3. Check the voltage.

        Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Voltage
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        K38-2 (B) - K38-3 (E) Light control switch OFF Below 1 V
        Light control switch in TAIL 11 to 14 V
        K38-4 (B) - K38-3 (E) Brake pedal released Below 1 V
        Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V
        K38-1 (B) - K38-3 (E) Turn signal switch OFF Below 1 V
        Ignition switch ON (IG) and Turn signal switch in RH 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)

        If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.
