REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Rear Fog Light)


    1. A01NEXO

      Remove the 2 bolts and reflex reflector assembly LH.

  2. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Rear Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  3. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear Fog Light)


    1. A01NFLR

      Remove the 2 bolts and rear fog light assembly.

  4. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  7. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Peel the tape used to secure the luggage room wire to the extent that allows removal of the No. 3 luggage room wire and remove it.

      Tech Tips

      Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the rear bumper assembly so that the tape can be reused.

  8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. A01NF3U

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper side support LH.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A01NFGP

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A01NGPW

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  13. REMOVE CAP GROMMET (w/ Air Suspension)


    1. A01NEVT

      Remove the cap grommet.

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. A01NGNJ

      Disengage the clamp. (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

    2. Remove the 6 nuts and No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement.
