FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Short Type)

      Remove the 2 screws and front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Long Type)

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  3. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

      Using a clip remover, disconnect the 16 clips and remove the hood to radiator grille seal.

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01NFLF

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Disengage the 8 claws and 6 guides to remove the radiator grille.

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE LH


    1. A01NDX8

      Extend the headlight cleaner washer nozzle.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the headlight cleaner washer nozzle.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE RH

  7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. A01NDRE

      Disengage the 2 claws to release the lock as shown in the illustration and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

      Tech Tips

      The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

      Tech Tips

      The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

  11. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER


    1. A01NEJS

      Disengage the claws and remove the 2 front fender liner retainers.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  12. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 4 screws and fog light assembly.

  13. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

  14. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw and remove the fog light mounting bracket LH.

  15. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH

  16. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the fog light cover LH.

  22. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 radiator grille bracket.

  23. REMOVE NO. 1 LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE

      Disengage the 15 claws and remove the No. 1 lower radiator grille.

  24. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GARNISH LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Remove the 4 front bumper side retainers and front bumper garnish LH.

  25. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GARNISH RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  26. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER (for Separate Type)

      Remove the headlight cleaner hose.

    2. A01NEVR

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  27. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER LH (for Separate Type)

      Disengage the guide and remove the front bumper energy absorber LH.

  28. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER RH (for Separate Type)

      Remove the headlight cleaner hose.

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  30. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

      Disengage the 3 clamps.

    2. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  31. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH
