FRONT BUMPER REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      *1 Bolt
      *2 Screw

      Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper side retainer LH.

    2. Install the bolt and screw.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
      Screw
      7.5 N*m  { 77 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. A01NE2P

      Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      35 N*m  { 357 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the 3 clamps.

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER LH (for Separate Type)

      Engage the guide to install the front bumper energy absorber LH.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER RH (for Separate Type)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER (for Separate Type)

      Engage the 2 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

    2. A01NEZB

      Install the headlight cleaner hose.

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER (except Separate Type)

      Engage the 2 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

    2. A01NGKL

      Install the headlight cleaner hose.

  8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GARNISH LH

      Install the front bumper garnish LH with the 4 front bumper side retainers.

    2. Install the screw.

  9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GARNISH RH

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01NHRJ

      Engage the 15 claws to install the No. 1 lower radiator grille.

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET


    1. A01NEVB

      Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 2 radiator grille bracket.

  12. INSTALL NO. 2 LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01NDYU

      Engage the 12 claws to install the No. 2 lower radiator grille.

  13. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER PAD


    1. A01NEPY

      Install 2 new front bumper pads.

      Tech Tips

      Stick the new front bumper pads on the line marked on the front bumper assembly.

  14. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH

    2. Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper hole cover LH.

  23. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Temporarily install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer to the front bumper.

      Note


      • Do not damage the front bumper with the protrusion when installing the retainer.

      • Securely install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer so that there are no gaps between the retainer and surface of the front bumper.

      Tech Tips


      • When installing the retainer, align the keyhole and protrusion as shown in the illustration.

      • The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

      Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultra sonic sensor retainer.

      Tech Tips

      The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

  24. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

      Note

      Push the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the outside of the bumper when there is a gap between the retainer and the bumper surface. In this case, do not push on the ultrasonic sensor.

      Tech Tips

      The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

  25. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01NDUY

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      1.1 N*m  { 11 kgf*cm, 10 in.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  26. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    2. Install the radiator grille with the 2 clips.

  30. INSTALL HOOD TO RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

      Engage the 16 clips and install the hood to radiator grille seal.

  31. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Short Type)

      Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 77 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  32. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Long Type)


    1. A01NF1I

      Engage the 2 claws.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 77 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

    2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.
