REAR BUMPER REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. A01NGNJ

      Install the No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement with the 6 nuts.

      Torque:
      35 N*m  { 357 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the clamp. (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  2. INSTALL CAP GROMMET (w/ Air Suspension)

      Install the cap grommet.

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A01NGPW

      Engage the 2 guides to install the rear bumper energy absorber.

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A01NFGP

      Engage the 4 claws.

    2. Install the rear bumper side retainer LH with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      2.0 N*m  { 20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. A01NF3U

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the rear bumper side support LH with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      2.0 N*m  { 20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  8. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. A01NGN9

      Apply pieces of tape to the positions on the rear bumper assembly shown in the illustration to install the No. 3 luggage room wire.

      Tech Tips

      If the existing tape does not provide adequate adhesion, use additional tape with enough adhesion to secure the No. 3 luggage room wire.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  11. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Rear Fog Light)


    1. A01NEXO

      Install the reflex reflector assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

  12. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Rear Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  13. INSTALL REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear Fog Light)


    1. A01NFSZ

      Install the rear fog light assembly with the 2 bolts.

  14. INSTALL REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
