REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

      Front view of wire harness connector

      (to Rear Light Assembly LH)

      Disconnect the connector from the rear light assembly LH.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Y3-2 - Y3-1 Light control switch in tail position 11 to 14 V
      Light control switch off Below 1 V
      Y4-2 - Y4-1 Shift lever in R 11 to 14 V
      Shift lever not in R Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

  2. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

      Disconnect the connector from the rear light assembly RH.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Y19-2 - Y19-1 Light control switch in tail position 11 to 14 V
      Light control switch off Below 1 V
      Y20-2 - Y20-1 Shift lever in R 11 to 14 V
      Shift lever not in R Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.
