HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

    Note

    After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX

      Remove the 3 clips and the rear deck floor box.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER

      Remove the 4 clips and engine room side cover.

  5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (for LH Side)

      Remove the 4 clips.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the engine room side cover LH.

  6. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (for LH Side)

      Remove the 6 clips and cool air intake duct seal.

  7. DISCONNECT NO. 3 ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK (for LH Side)


    1. A01NG26

      Disengage the claw and disconnect the No. 3 engine room relay block.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BACK COVER


    1. A01NFAN

      Turn the No. 1 headlight back cover in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove it.

  9. REMOVE DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB

      Separate the light control ECU socket by turning it in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

    2. A01NE3GE01

      Release the set spring and remove the discharge headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrows shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass.
