HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LED Headlight) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE LOCKING CAP

      Turn the locking cap in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove it.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB


    1. A01NGRD

      Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove it.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 1 headlight bulb.

  3. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

      Turn the front turn signal light bulb and front turn signal light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove them as a unit.

    2. Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the front turn signal light socket.

  4. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB


    1. A01NDJJ

      Turn the clearance light bulb and headlight cord in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove them as a unit.

    2. Remove the clearance light bulb from the headlight cord.

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CORD


    1. A01NE23

      Disengage the clamp and claw, and remove the headlight cord.

  6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR


    1. A01NF6X

      Align the notches of the headlight leveling motor and housing, and pull out the headlight leveling motor slightly.

      Tech Tips

      For the headlight leveling motor RH, rotate it symmetrical to the directional arrow shown in the illustration.

    2. A01NF9M

      Lower the tip of the headlight leveling motor to disengage it from the reflector and remove the headlight leveling motor.

  7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING


    1. Remove the headlight leveling motor base packing.

      Note

      After the headlight leveling motor base packing is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do this may cause water ingress.

  8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NGQE

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. A01NHMW

      Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE HEADLIGHT GASKET


    1. Remove the headlight gasket.

      Note

      After the headlight gasket is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do this may cause water ingress.

  10. REMOVE HEADLIGHT REFLECTOR


    1. A01NE26

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the headlight reflector.

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT


    1. A01NHNW

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front bumper bar reinforcement.
