POWER MIRROR CONTROL SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (LH SIDE)

    A01ND3PE09

    1. Disconnect the z4 and J3 connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J3-14 (BDR) - Body ground Y - Body ground +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      J3-6 (CPUB) - Body ground L - Body ground +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      J3-5 (SIG) - Body ground Y - Body ground Ignition power supply Power switch off → on (IG) 0 V → 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J3-7 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    4. Reconnect the z4 and J3 connectors.

    5. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the z3 and I4 connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
