POWER MIRROR CONTROL SYSTEM AUTO Power Retract Mirrors do not operate

DESCRIPTION

When the mirror AUTO retract switch of the multiplex network master switch assembly is on, the multiplex network master switch sends the mirror AUTO retract switch signal to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via LIN communication. When the doors are locked or unlocked while the power switch is off, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) sends the mirror retract/return signal to each outer mirror control ECU via CAN communication. On receiving the mirror retract/return signal, each outer mirror control ECU operates the power mirror retract motor of the outer rear view mirror assembly to retract or return the outer rear view mirror assembly.

5. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER

   
   

   1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body / Master Switch / Data List.

   5. Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.
