POWER BACK DOOR DRIVE UNIT INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY


    1. Clean the threaded portion on the vehicle body with a non-residue solvent.

    2. Apply adhesive to the threads of the 7 bolts.

      Adhesive
      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent
    3. A01NDSZE01

      Engage the claw as shown in the illustration.

    4. Install the power back door unit with the 5 bolts.

      Torque:
      31 N*m  { 316 kgf*cm, 23 ft.*lbf }

    5. Connect the connector.

    6. A01ND6Z

      Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      31 N*m  { 316 kgf*cm, 23 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR ROOF SIDE RAIL PAD LH


    1. A01NCSA

      Engage the 2 fasteners and install the rear roof rail pad LH.

  3. INSTALL UPPER BACK WINDOW PANEL TRIM

      Engage the 7 clips and 6 claws to install the upper back window panel trim.
