FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System)

    Component without harness connected

    (Accessory Meter Assembly)

    1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage from the wire harness back side between the terminals of the indicator, and check the lighting condition of the front passenger side seat belt warning light.

      Standard
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (IG2)

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 6 (PBEW)

      		 Front passenger side seat belt warning light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the accessory meter assembly.

  2. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)

    Component without harness connected

    (Radio Receiver Assembly)

    1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage from the wire harness back side between the terminals of the indicator, and check the lighting condition of the front passenger side seat belt warning light.

      Standard
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 15 (IG+)

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (PBEW)

      		 Front passenger side seat belt warning light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the radio receiver assembly.
