  1. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH

      Inspect seat heater switch operation.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        1 (RV) - 6 (SW)

        OFF: Front RH

        Heater switch off (Vol: 0)

        		 2.17 to 4.03 kΩ
        1 (RV) - 6 (SW)

        OFF: Front RH

        Heater switch on (Vol: 3)

        		 280 to 520 Ω
        2 (REL1) - 11 (SW)

        OFF: Front LH

        Heater switch off (Vol: 0)

        		 2.17 to 4.03 kΩ
        2 (REL1) - 11 (SW)

        OFF: Front LH

        Heater switch on (Vol: 3)

        		 280 to 520 Ω
        7 (BLLH) - 10 (SVSG)

        OFF: Front RH

        Blower switch off (Vol: 0)

        		 1.54 to 2.86 kΩ
        7 (BLLH) - 10 (SVSG)

        OFF: Front RH

        Blower switch on (Vol: 3)

        		 Below 1 to 100 Ω
        8 (SVS5) - 10 (SVSG) Always 1.54 to 2.86 kΩ
        9 (BLRH) - 10 (SVSG)

        OFF: Front LH

        Blower switch off (Vol: 0)

        		 1.54 to 2.86 kΩ
        9 (BLRH) - 10 (SVSG)

        OFF: Front LH

        Blower switch on (Vol: 3)

        		 Below 1 to 100 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

    2. Inspect seat heater switch indicator operation.


      1. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the switch, as shown in the table below.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Switch Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5 (IG)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 12 (E)

        		 Seat heater switch ON Indicator comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

    3. Inspect seat heater switch illumination.


      1. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the switch as shown in the table below.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (ILL-)

        		 Illumination comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
