FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE POWER SEAT SLIDE MOTOR ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Perform this step only when replacing the power seat slide motor assembly.

  2. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  3. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01NDHK

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board from the front seat frame.

    2. A01NHTE

      Remove the 5 screws.

    3. Disengage the claw and guide.

    4. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.

    5. w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function:


      1. A01NG4V

        Disengage the 2 clamps.

      2. Disconnect the connector from the seat variable cushion switch.

    6. Remove the front seat cushion shield assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the No. 1 front seat cushion inner shield from the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH

      Remove the 2 screws and the lumbar switch.

  7. REMOVE SEAT VARIABLE CUSHION SWITCH (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)

      Remove the 2 screws and the seat variable cushion switch.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect each connector and clamp.

    2. A01NDP5

      Remove the nut and the front seat inner belt assembly.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD


    1. A01NGRF

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw.

    3. A01NE98

      Separate the guide and remove the front seat cushion inner shield as shown in the illustration.

  10. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH


    1. A01ND2C

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disengage the guide.

    3. A01NEDR

      Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the power seat switch.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)


    1. A01NDMT

      Disengage the 6 hooks.

    2. w/o Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01NFJ9

        Disengage the 5 clamps.

    3. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01NEUM

        Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      2. Disengage the 6 clamps.

    4. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

      for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A01NE0K

        Disengage the 2 clamps and separate the occupant detection sensor connector.

    5. Disengage each hook and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)

      Disengage the 6 hooks.

    2. w/o Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01NFJ9

        Disengage the 5 clamps.

    3. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01NEUM

        Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      2. Disengage the 6 clamps.

    4. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    5. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A01NE0K

        Disengage the 2 clamps and separate the occupant detection sensor connector.

    6. Disengage each hook.

    7. A01ND0G

      Disengage the 4 hooks.

    8. A01NH63

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    9. Remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A01NFQ2

      Remove the 19 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function)

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A01NGI7

      Remove the 15 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Cut off the 30 tack pins that fasten the seat heater, and then remove the front seat cushion heater assembly from the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  16. REMOVE TELEVISION BASE COVER CAP (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System)

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 claws and 3 guides, and remove the television base cover cap.

  17. REMOVE TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH COVER (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System)


    1. A01NDQU

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts and television display assembly.

  18. REMOVE NO. 2 TELEVISION BASE (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System)


    1. A01NDNX

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. A01NF1B

      Using a clip remover, remove the 5 clips.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the No. 2 television base.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NDDM

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01NFA3

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seatback board sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seatback board cover sub-assembly.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.

  22. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. A01NDPB

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

    3. A01NDZU

      Disengage the 6 hooks as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01NDHG

      Remove the nut.

    5. Disengage the guide and remove the seatback cover bracket.

    6. Remove the front seatback cover with pad from the seatback frame.

  23. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 14 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Cut off the 12 tack pins that fasten the seatback heater, and then remove the front seatback heater assembly from the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  25. REMOVE SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)


    1. for Driver Side:


      1. A01NGIV

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the 3 clamps.

    2. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A01NHDW

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. A01NFY2

      Disengage the clamp.

    4. Using a T30 ''TORX'' socket, remove the 6 ''TORX'' bolts and remove the seatback climate control blower and the seatback climate control cover.

  26. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 4 guides and remove the seatback felt.

    2. A01NDV0

      Disengage the 4 clamps.

    3. A01NHXU

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01NH3E

      Disconnect the connector.

    5. Remove the 2 screws.

    6. Disengage the guide and remove the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

    7. A01NH1G

      Remove the bush.

  27. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT

      Remove the nut <A> and disconnect the cable from the active headrest upper unit as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts <B> and the active headrest upper unit.

  28. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT

      Remove the 2 nuts and the active headrest lower unit.

  29. REMOVE LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

    2. Disengage the clamp and remove the side airbag wire harness.

    3. Disengage the guide and remove the lower reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the upper reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the upper reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  33. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the guide and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

  35. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL DUCT (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Disengage the 2 clamps (A) in the direction indicated by the arrow.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps (B) in the direction indicated by the arrow.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws, and remove the seat cushion climate control duct.

  36. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)


    1. A01NHWG

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the screw.

    3. Pull up the bracket of the seat cushion climate control blower as shown in the illustration.

    4. Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the seat cushion climate control blower.

  37. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR


    1. A01NDEA

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw and seat position sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

    3. A01ND52

      Remove the seat position sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.

  38. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)


    1. A01NFYS

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

  39. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System:


      1. A01NHB5

        Disengage the 5 clamps.

    2. A01NDZX

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disengage the 3 clamps.

    4. A01NFC8

      Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    5. Disengage the 8 clamps and remove the front seat wire from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

  40. REMOVE FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NFRI

      Disengage the 3 clamps to separate the wire harness.

    2. A01NDBN

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    3. A01NCOA

      Remove the 2 nuts and front seat side airbag assembly.

      CAUTION:


      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the front seat frame assembly with adjuster is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
