AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH REMOVAL

    Note

    w/ Navigation System for HDD:

    After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX

      Remove the 3 clips and the rear deck floor box.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH RH

      Disengage the 6 clips to separate the instrument panel garnish RH.

  5. REMOVE AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01NG5L

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the airbag cut-off switch cylinder sub-assembly.
