INSPECT LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 3 (UP) - 5 (E) Light control rheostat up switch pressed Below 1 Ω 3 (UP) - 5 (E) Light control rheostat up switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher 5 (E) - 7 (DOWN) Light control rheostat down switch pressed Below 1 Ω 5 (E) - 7 (DOWN) Light control rheostat down switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher -
Apply battery voltage from the wire harness back side between the terminals of the switch, and check the lighting condition of the light control rheostat.
OK Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) - 8 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) - 6 (ILL-)
Always Light control rheostat illuminates
