  1. INSPECT FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Door Scuff Plate)

      Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1.

    2. Check that the front door scuff plate light comes on.

      OK
      Front door scuff plate light comes on.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front door scuff plate.
