ROOM LIGHT INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect the rear personal lights.

        Component without harness connected

        (Spot Light Assembly)

        Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 (ILLB) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 3 (RGND).

      2. Check that the rear personal lights come on as shown in the table below.

        OK
        Condition Specified Condition
        Rear personal light switch LH on Rear personal light LH comes on
        Rear personal light switch LH off Rear personal light LH does not come on
        Rear personal light switch RH on Rear personal light RH comes on
        Rear personal light switch RH off Rear personal light RH does not come on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.

    2. Inspect the rear interior light.


      1. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 (ILLB) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (CTY).

      2. Check that the rear interior light comes on.

        OK
        Rear interior light comes on.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.
